Mint Grasshopper Candy Bark for St Patrick's Day

Green is my absolute favorite color, so St Patrick's Day is fun for me to celebrate in some respect. I have enough green in my closet to wear for the entire week before and after if I wanted to.

I also adore anything that relates back to Ireland as well; so I may be biased in my reason for liking March 17th.

Another favorite of mine: MINT! Yum!

Therefore, when I sat down with Days of a Domestic Dad to think about a delicious recipe for St. Patrick's Day, I wanted a mint flavored treat.

We decided to make candy bark (it's literally one of the easiest treats to make), but we really wanted to make it our own way.

Plus, I wanted to ensure there was plenty of green in the mix. We made a list and headed to the store, ready to make some marvelous minty treats.

What transposed was utterly delicious!

We decided on a Mint Grasshopper Candy Bark.

Using Grasshopper cookies as a base and mint flavored M&M's to seal the deal there was plenty of greatness in every bite.

Not to mention, they really took no time at all to make.

Ingredients:

Almond Bark (1 lb)
Mint Dark Chocolate M&M's®
Grasshopper Fudge Mint Cookies
Pretzel Sticks
Green Sprinkles

Directions:

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper in preparation for the candy bark.
Insert Grasshopper Fudge Mint Cookies into a ziploc bag and break into pieces. (you could also use your own method)
Spread broken cookie pieces out evenly on parchment paper.
Insert pretzel sticks into a ziploc bag and break into small pieces.
Pour broken pretzel sticks evenly over the mint cookies.
Next, lay out the Mint M&M's over the mixture in an even spread.
Melt Almond Bark on stove or microwave according to directions on packaging.
Pour melted Almond Bark over the dry ingredients to bind them all together. (scatter sprinkles on top if desired)
Place in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to set. Break apart and serve.

You now have a mouthwatering mint masterpiece. The green M&M's and sprinkles coupled with the fabulous mint flavor make it the perfect St. Patrick's Day treat! Enjoy!
