As you can imagine, living in a house full of girls, when I saw the official trailer for Pixar's Inside Out, I felt like it was my life. Yes! Exactly this. Not to mention, I have an 11 year old that goes through these exact emotions several times a day. Therefore, attending the #InsideOutEvent at the end of the month is going to be perfect!
Inside Out
First, let's all get on the same page as far as what this movie is about:

Now, those of us who are female, or have females in our home, work, life, know how this goes, right?! As I mentioned, with 4 girls, I live this daily. Oh the emotions! Sadness, anger, disgust, fear, and joy. Every.day. In fact, I asked my daughter Jaden, the 11 year old, to make me a video to represent just one situation she faces it daily. Yep, this was pretty much spot on:
She actually went through these same emotions when I told her Colby and I would be attending the #InsideOutEvent in San Francisco later this month too. In fact, all the girls did.
Honestly, I probably went through a similar emotional roller coaster ride... with the exception of anger. Who could be angry about all of the amazing things we will be doing:
- Press Event for Disney/Pixar's Inside Out, including interviews with Director Pete Docter, Producer Jonas Rivera, and animators
- Tour of Pixar Studios
- Screening upcoming Disneynature film Monkey Kingdom
- Visit to The Walt Disney Family Museum
