Whether attending as part of a school-led field trip or as an individual, the learning opportunities are the same. Inside and out, the Museum features natural sustainability and environmental friendliness including a rainwater collection system, LED lighting and solar-powered water heating. One of the current traveling exhibits in honor of National Math Month is 2theXtreme: MathAlive! As soon as you enter, you are engaged in a hands-on learning experience. Many forms of forensic sciences were influenced by Conan Doyle’s work, including serology, fingerprinting, and firearm identification. In the exhibit, students will be transported into Sherlock Holmes’ London to solve a crime in a world that was being introduced to these ground-breaking methods for the first time. You can see Sherlock Holmes beginning on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2015\.
