# Mint Grasshopper Candy Bark for St Patrick's Day

Green is my absolute favorite color, so St Patrick's Day is fun for me to celebrate in some respect. I have enough green in my closet to wear for the entire week before and after if I wanted to.

## Mint Grasshopper Candy Bark

I also adore anything that relates back to Ireland as well; so I may be biased in my reason for liking March 17th.

Another favorite of mine: **MINT!** Yum!

Therefore, when I sat down with [Days of a Domestic Dad](http://daysofadomesticdad.com/) to think about a delicious [recipe for St. Patrick's Day](https://ourfamilylifestyle.com/st-patrick-day-recipes/), I wanted a mint flavored treat.

We decided to make candy bark (*it's literally one of the easiest treats to make*), but we really wanted to make it our own way.

Plus, I wanted to ensure there was plenty of [green](https://ourfamilylifestyle.com/green-foods-st-patricks-day/) in the mix. We made a list and headed to the store, ready to make some marvelous minty treats.

What transposed was utterly delicious!

### We decided on a **Mint Grasshopper Candy Bark**.

Using [Grasshopper cookies](https://www.amazon.com/Keebler-Grasshopper-Cookies-Mint-Fudge-Tray/dp/B00BV282DS?dchild=1&keywords=Grasshopper+cookies&qid=1614390993&sr=8-5&linkCode=ll1&tag=7onashoe-20&linkId=ab889cf8ac20bd2ba193439cb0255dfe&language=en%5FUS&ref%5F=as%5Fli%5Fss%5Ftl) as a base and mint flavored M&M's to seal the deal there was plenty of greatness in every bite.

Not to mention, they really took no time at all to make.

**Ingredients:**

- [Almond Bark](https://amzn.to/3Nzqytl) (1 lb)
- Mint Dark Chocolate M&M's®
- [Grasshopper Fudge Mint Cookies](https://amzn.to/4qrsEtR)
- Pretzel Sticks
- Green Sprinkles

**Directions:** 

1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper in preparation for the candy bark.
2. Insert **Grasshopper Fudge Mint Cookies** into a ziploc bag and break into pieces. (*you could also use your own method*)
3. Spread broken cookie pieces out evenly on parchment paper.
4. Insert pretzel sticks into a ziploc bag and break into small pieces.
5. Pour broken pretzel sticks evenly over the mint cookies.
6. Next, lay out the **Mint M&M's** over the mixture in an even spread.
7. Melt **Almond Bark** on stove or microwave according to directions on packaging.
8. Pour melted Almond Bark over the dry ingredients to bind them all together. (*scatter sprinkles on top if desired*)
9. Place in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to set. Break apart and serve.
